Origins
What started as a family tradition of Sunday gatherings around a table laden with handmade pasta and slow-cooked ragù evolved into something more ambitious. Our founder grew up watching her grandmother transform simple ingredients into meals that brought people together, creating memories that lasted far beyond the final bite.
After years of classical training in Milan and stages at Michelin-starred establishments, she realized that the most profound cooking happened not in pursuit of accolades, but in service of connection and genuine hospitality.
Philosophy
We believe in the intelligence of ingredients. When you source thoughtfully and treat each element with respect, you don't need to overcomplicate. Our menus are exercises in restraint—not minimalism for its own sake, but a deliberate focus on allowing natural flavors to speak clearly.
This means relationships with producers who share our values. The tomatoes come from a greenhouse just outside the city. The olive oil arrives from a family estate in Liguria. The pasta flour is milled to order from heritage wheat varieties.
Our Team
Behind every plate is a team of individuals who care deeply about their craft. Our sous chef trained in Emilia-Romagna and brings an encyclopedic knowledge of regional Italian cooking. Our pastry chef approaches desserts as a dialogue between tradition and seasonal inspiration.
The front-of-house team isn't just there to serve—they're storytellers who can guide you through the menu, explain the provenance of what you're tasting, and help you discover wines that elevate the experience.
